Rain ranked at #17 for Pollstar's Hot Top 20 in 2008, in its annual poll for "overall ticket sales of a touring show, band, or production". Rain also conquered Broadway, playing for over 300 shows. It all began in 1975 when a Laguna Beach, California-based band called Reign became known locally for playing both Beatles and original music. In 1979, they were tapped by producer Dick Clark to record very close-to-the-original versions of Beatles songs for the Richard Marquand film "Birth of the Beatles". Since then, they took this act on the road and called themselves Rain - A Tribute to The Beatles -- taking their name from the B-side Beatles single "Rain".
With the new Beatles' song "Now and Then" reigniting sparks of Beatles love, love, love, all you need is a celebratory event with fellow Beatle lovers where you can sing, twist, shout, and dance in the Rain - A Tribute to The Beatles, happening at the Wang Theatre on Saturday 13th April 2024.
