Jazz musician Herbie Hancock began his career performing with legendary musician Donald Byrd, followed by a stint with the Miles Davis Quintet. Eventually Hancock became a headlining sensation and pioneered a ton of jazz techniques with the keyboard during the 70s. Hancock has 48 years worth of music and has composed some of the most iconic jazz hits, including “Cantaloupe Island,” “Chameleon,” “Watermelon Man,” and tons more. Hancock as won a ton of accolades, including 14 Grammys, an Academy Award, and a Kennedy Center Honors.
